Grand Central Restaurant Opening Delayed

KANSAS CITY-Construction delays will push back the opening of Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant until late fall. More than $1 million in additional financing was needed and finding marble and terra cotta proved difficult.

Among the delays were the need for more than $1 million in additional financing and difficulties in finding the marble and terra cotta for the interior design.

The Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant in Kansas City will be the only location for the restaurant outside of its original location in Grand Central Station in New York City.
