Regis Expansion Still Netting 925 Stores

EDINA, MN-The world's largest hair care salon says it hopes to reduce debt by slowing down its growth of new stores. The company has 6,604 salons in six divisions.

The company said the slower expansion will help it reduce it's debt. Regis is the world's largest owner, operator, franchisor and acquirer of hair care salons. The company has 6,604 salons -- 4,405 company-owned and 2,199 franchise -- in six divisions: Regis Salons, Strip Center Salons (primarily Supercuts and Cost Cutters), MasterCuts, Trade Secret, Wal-Mart/SmartStyle Family Hair Salons.
