American Peptide, which produces peptides for the biomedical industry, will move into its new facility at 1271 Avenida Chelsea in July.American Peptide will continue to operate its Sunnyvale, CA facility.
The seller of the property was Moxie/Jack III LLC. Linda Greenberg, VP at Grubb & Ellis, represented the buyer. Jerry Sarazin of Colliers International represented the seller.
"American Peptide is one of a number of biotech firms moving into North County," said Greenberg. Other companies recently establishing a presence in the north coastal area are: Isis Pharmaceuticals, CSIPharmaceutical, Nassmith Pharmaceuticals and Mardx Diagnostic Inc.
