Radisson Names Top GM for 2000

MINNETONKA, MN-Long-time employee Ron Hunter, who started with the chain 28 years ago as a part-time waiter, wins the Esprit Award for his work at the Radisson Governors Inn - Research Triangle Park in North Carolina.

The Esprit Award is given to the general manager who establishes a high level of quality at his or her hotel and is recognized for excellence in guest services as well as producing profit growth and is an active participant within the brand. Hunter has a 28-year history with the Radisson Governors Inn – Research Triangle Park in North Carolina, starting as a part-time waiter until he became the property's general manager in 1995.

He was selected from more than 420 Radisson general managers in 59 countries.
