"We have been able to get into a much larger space for about the same price," Shannon Lear Martin of TrainUtopia, former iTrain Inc., tells GlobeSt.com. Since its launch, the company had been officing at 8213 Shoal Creek. Its new office is in 3,000 sf at Park Avenue Center at 1911 N. Austin Ave. in Georgetown. Melissa Machno owns the building, says Martin.

The 10-employee high-tech company expects to double its staff in the next year, says Martin. And this move means it is located closer to most of its employees' homes while positioning itself for a reverse commute to and from the state capital, a plus for any who would be among high-traffic Interstate 35 commuters.

TrainUtopia specializes in custom Web design and computer-based training for corporations. The start-up had launched in sublease space along with several other fledgling companies, all of which are now "spreading our wings,' Martin tells GlobeSt.com.
