CDW Expands HQ, Warehouse to 565,000 SF

VERNON HILLS, IL-Computer Discount Warehouse nearly doubles the size of its showroom and warehouse facility at 200 N. Milwaukee Ave. in this north suburb of Chicago with a 245,760-sf addition.

A 100,800-sf addition warehouse was built for the discount computer equipment retailer in 1998. The precast concrete and glass addition, which was completed in five months, matches the original building.

Timothy Morgan & Associates, Inc. provided architectural services. Senior project manager Chris Linn, project manager Steve Rutkowski and site superintendent Terry Guardalabene supervised construction for FCL.
