Greg Jordan, the Woodlands' director of retail sales and leasing, has represented the development in the land sale to franchisee, Harry Stafford. The restaurant will be located on the northwest corner of the junction of Texas 242, College Park Drive and Interstate 45. A Woodlands' source tells GlobeSt.com that dirt start being pushed within a week.
Popeye's is a New Orleans-based, chicken restaurant. It is the second-largest quick-service chicken chain in the US with 270 franchise partners and 1,300 restaurants. There are currently 10 locations in the Houston area.
Also in the Woodlands, Maersk Sealand recently has opened its 100,000-sf regional Customer Resource Center. The building houses about 500 employees for the containership line. The center is located at 8686 New Trails Dr. in Research Forest.
