The building, being constructed by Raleigh, NC-based REIT Highwoods Properties, Inc., is expected to be completed in January.

Verizon's call center was based at 50,000 sf in Patewood Plaza V. "The principal challenge was to solve the problem of the inefficient use of space at Verizon's existing facility and find a space that provided long-term planning and growth potential," says Jeff Schultz, senior vice president of Grubb & Ellis.
