Karchem recently developed the Gallup Building here, and also served as the tenant project manager for the law firm's 43,000-sf office at Hamilton Square. "Based on the success of that team effort, we were asked to be their advisor in Kansas City," says Karchem vice president Patrick Marinaro.
The company has also completed other projects outside of the Washington, DC metropolitan area including the renovation of 1500 Broadway, a 500,000-sf office building in New York's Times Square, and the Sheraton Waterside Hotel, a 442-room hotel in Norfolk, VA.
The building under construction in Kansas City, located at 2555 Grand Boulevard, will be the largest downtown office construction there in more than a decade.
