Tosco Corp., which owns and operates the Valley convenience stores and hundreds more in the state and throughout the Southwest, is taking an extra 33,000 sf in the Ryan West Business Park in Tolleson. The Tempe-based company leases more than 182,000 sf in the distribution center. The project, built by Ryan Cos., is located at 8313 W. Latham St., about a mile south of Interstate 10 and about two miles east of Loop 101.
The new 10-year lease is valued at $1.5 million over the contract term. Earlier in the year, Tocso had signed a lease for 149,000 sf in the building. That lease too is for a 10-year term. The distribution facility is used to supply products and goods to Circle K convenience stores throughout the Valley. The Phoenix office of CB Richard Ellis, with brokers Joe Porter, Pat Feeney and Dan Calihan, have represented landlord and tenant in the transaction.
