The Greylands Business Park is made up of eight buildings and owner e-Bay occupies 40% of the project, and some 42 tenants occupy the remainder. E-Bay has and will maintain its worldwide headquarters in Greylands, which is reportedly 97% leased.
"In spite of a softening economy we feel that this is a great opportunity for us as we are in a growth mode," a Trammell Crow Company source close to the deal told GlobeSt.com. "We are working diligently to grow our business in both the San Francisco and Sacramento markets."
Rosanna Davidson, Trammell Crow's vice president of property management, will oversee the effort. Trammell Crow Company beat out other bidders including Legacy and Grubb & Ellis, which has handled and will continue to handle all leasing aspects of the building. Trammell Crow now has 12.5 million sf under management in the Bay Area.
