The software company is relocating its headquarters to Newport Beach from its previous location in Irvine. Scientific will occupy suite 220 in Birch Bayview, a 45,850-sf, two-story building that is part of a two-building, 95,000-sf development.
Randolph T. Mason of Lee & Associates represented the tenant. The building's ownership group, named Birch Bayview Plaza, was represented by Gil Marrero of Voit Commercial Brokerage.
Mason tells GlobeSt.com he can't say much about the company at their request, but did offer up that the move took place because the location is "phenomenal," the rate was "very, very competitive" and "the company was able to get shell space and build it out to their exact specifications."
