It includes 100,200 sf of warehouse space the company will use to house its assembly operations, and 20,000 sf of office space that the company will use as its corporate headquarters. Linksys, which develops wireless, broadband and LAN networking solutions, is scheduled to occupy the space in July.
The facility recently underwent three months of renovations, including "a complete refurbishment of the exterior," according to Philip C. Cohen, a CB Richard Ellis broker who worked on the deal. The previous tenant, a women's apparel company, had used the space as a warehouse.
Cohen, who works out of CB Richard Ellis' Newport Beach office, represented Linksys. The building owner, CIGNA, was represented by CB Richard Ellis brokers Dave Desper and Chip Wright, who also work out of the Newport Beach office.
