His company spelled those plans out in detail at a recent Pohatcong Twp. planning board meeting, and the board liked what it heard. The community is located in Warren County, a rural, hilly area in the northwestern portion of the state.

Between now and the end of the year, Fibermark intends to spend somewhere $25 million to $50 million to bring the Warren Glen facility up to snuff. The expenditures will go for an outfitting of new production equipment, as well as construction of a new 11,200-sf warehouse to house storage tanks for chemicals used in the paper-making process.

FiberMart itself turns out bulk paper products used in manufacturing. The Warren Glen mill will produce crepe paper, specialty masking tape, book covering materials and the paper base for sandpaper.
