Wyndham International has owned the property since 1998. Although the rooms were renovated in 2000, Wyndham is adding high-speed Internet access, two-line cordless telephones, ergonomic desk chairs and pillow-top mattresses. Those improvements are expected to be completed next month.
Meanwhile, 21,000 sf of meeting space, the 17,000-sf fitness center and lounge have been renovated. The Lisle's lobby, front desk and entrance will be renovated this fall.
James R. Henderson has been appointed general manager of the hotel while Tim Gustafson has been named area director of sales and marketing.
"Not only does the addition of the Wyndham Lisle fit our strategy to grow the Wyndham brand in key business centers, but it meets a core business goal to raise internal earnings by reducing franchise fees paid to competitors," says Wyndham International Chairman and CEO Fred J. Kleisner.
