California Micro Devices' five-year lease for 1,300 sf takes Building 1, which delivered six months ago, to 95% occupancy, Greg Johnson, vice president of leasing for Transwestern Commercial Services' Austin office, tells GlobeSt.com. Adelphia Communications is the lead tenant, occupying 10,000 sf, in the first of three structures planned for the 11 1/2-acre Park Forest. The remaining buildings, which are under way, contain 30,000 sf each and will deliver in August.
Johnson says there are prospects in the pipeline for the 2,500-sf balance of Building 1 at Park Forest, an inroad project to Austin by owner Realty Capital Corp. of Ft. Worth. Johnson has represented Realty Capital in the lease transaction for Park Forest, situated along Parmer Lane near its intersection with MoPac Expressway.
