"We are highly focused on providing quality environments and amenities unmatched by other communities," says Sandy Eckhardt, the developer's regional property manager. And, the contract is just another link for MDTV's growing Texas portfolio. "Focusing our marketing efforts on new construction properties and being the sole provider of service is a great combination for us," Helen Chee, MDU's marketing director, says in a prepared statement.
MDU's inroad to Waters Edge is to provide digital satellite service. But the company also is a provider of high-speed Internet and in-suite monitored security services as well. MDU has a nationwide portfolio of 26 million multi-dwelling units and is a subsidiary of MDTV.
Meanwhile, Austin-based US OnLine has added three more Dallas properties to its portfolio in a recent transaction. That high-tech provider has inked three long-term deals with Dallas-based Walden.
US OnLine will be providing cable TV and high-speed Internet service to 964 units owned by Walden. The contract is for Bent Creek at 9750 Forest Lane; Creek Wood Village, 10928 Audelia; and Montfort Oaks, 14100 Montfort Dr.
