TMX Aerospace provides supply-chain management services that streamline the flow of raw materials for the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group and its worldwide suppliers. According to TMX officials, the new lease was made to get closer to the Boeing plant.
The deal comes on the heels on a new lease with Alaska Airlines and three other companies. It pushes CenterPoint past 70% occupancy.
TMX Aerospace will occupy space in CenterPoint's Creekside Two complex, which will become headquarters for the company's customer service, material purchasing management and executive offices.
TMX Aerospace coordinates purchasing, storage, processing, packaging and delivery demands for aluminum sheet, plate, extrusions and titanium to all Boeing locations and its 800+ subcontractors worldwide. The company also has locations in Connecticut, Kansas, and Southern California.
Scott Alan with Colliers International brokered the deal on behalf of TMX Aerospace.
