The auto electronics retailer is leasing 6,700 sf at 1118 W. Arbrook Rd. in Arlington and buying a .63-acre tract at 300 Lexington Dr. in Plano. In mid-March, Car Toys' broker had told GlobeSt.com that another 15 retail locations would be coming to the metroplex in addition to its existing inventory. Car Toys already has stores in East Dallas, Hurst, McKinney, Lewisville, Irving, the Galleria submarket in Dallas and Shafer Plaza in Rockwall.

The Staubach Co.'s Dallas team of Brian Murphy, vice president, and Greg Bracchi, associate, are brokering sites for Car Toys. The firm, based in Bellevue, WA, had launched in 1987, growing to 35 stores in its home state, Oregon, Colorado and Texas. Its inventory consists of mobile electronics and personal communications devices.
