Inevitable Entertainment has snagged all of the space that had been occupied by Merinta, a subsidiary of New York-based Boundless Corp. The sublease extends through Dec. 31, 2005 and has been sealed at the going rate, Jeff Henley of the Kucera Co. in Austin, tells GlobeSt.com.
The deal has closed in just a few weeks time despite the doom and gloom of the city's explosive sublease market, which some are now placing above the 2.2 million sf that had been last calculated. And, says Henley, the lease takes the 68,942-sf Echelon IV, situated at 9430 Research Blvd., back to full occupancy.
The 19-year-old Echelon IV is part of a four-building office complex at the intersection of MoPac Expressway and Texas 183. The Congress Holdings Group of Austin is the property owner.
Henley has represented Boundless Corp. in the transaction. Katy Hunt of the Don Cox Co. has acted on behalf of Inevitable Entertainment, which is relocating from One Far West Plaza. The Austin-based business will be tripling its office space in the move.
