The joint venture between Bellsouth and SBC Communications already occupies 315,000 sf on an estimated 10-year lease at Glenridge Highlands Two, a 19-story, 436,200-sf tower that is on the selling block in Dunwoody, GA, a northern suburb.

The new space would house Cingular's workers at Northpark Town Center where the company and Bellsouth jointly occupy 300,000 sf on a lease that expires in 2002. Northpark leasing reps are trying to work out a space strategy for Cingular that would keep the company at the GA 400 and Abernathy Road park, brokers familiar with the company's needs tell GlobeSt.com.

Cingular officials confirm the company is looking for new space but won't disclose the amount they need. Area brokers intimate with the company's growth and expansion plans, however, tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity Cingular seeks at least 200,000 sf and possibly 250,000 sf.
