Optical will occupy the two-story building by the end of the year, but not all of it. Two existing tenants will continue to lease a 65,000 sf portion of the building, which features 90,000 sf of office space and on-site parking for about 400 cars.
OCP house its executive management, administrative, sales and marketing, research and development activities at the new site. The company's manufacturing operations will expand in the current building in nearby Chatsworth, site of its existing headquarters.
OCP makes fiber optic subsystems and modules for various networks. Muoi V. Tran, OCP's chairman and chief executive officer, says the company should have "adequate space for growth for at least the next few years."
