Outback Opens New Zazarac Product

ORLANDO-The Tampa-based steakhouse chain has installed Joseph Davi of Orlando as managing partner of the estimated $1 million, 6,600-sf, 180-seat restaurant at Sand Lake Road and Dr. Phillips Boulevard in a hot commercial/residential southwest Orlando neighborhood.

The restaurant features southern Louisiana fare. Howard Richardson is executive chef. He apprenticed with Chef Roger Verge in France and interned for four years as a chef at Emeril's and Graham's Creole Café in New Orleans.

Davi was formerly associated with P.F. Changs China Bistro and Houston's.
