Jay Jones, who holds a number of properties in the Garland market, had optioned the property after it had been on the market for three months, Eric Deuillet of Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. Deuillet had represented Jones and seller Patrick Murphy, also a Dallas businessman. Jones' plans for the structure are undecided at this point, says Deuillet.

Murphy had owned the site for about three years, using the former retail site primarily for his moving and storage business, says Deuillet. Through the years, the structure has been used for everything from a flea market site to a clothing store. The Kingsley Road holding is located at the intersection with Jupiter Road in a high-traffic area and about a block from Interstate 635.

In another Henry S. Miller negotiated deal, Vonkel Real Estate has acquired a 7,167-sf office-warehouse at 111 Hillside Dr. in Lewisville. Dan Spika of Henry S. Miller has represented the seller Krishna Singh while Larry Rose Sr. of Stewart Rose Properties has acted on the buyer's behalf.
