The lease represents the entire first phase of Turnpike Crossing. Leighton Fisk and Frank Caccavo of Cushman & Wakefield represented Fleming in the transaction, while C&W's Jules Nissim represented the Bethesda, MD-based Opus East.

The move represents a significant expansion for Fleming, which is emerging for a major restructuring and a period of annual operating losses. One of the country's largest food wholesalers, the company has a client list that includes some 3,000 supermarkets, a like number of convenience stores and almost 1,000 drug stores, discount stores (including Target and Kmart) and other businesses.
