Wald will work in the firm's investment services group and will partner with Terranomics Retail Services, a division of BT Commercial. With 26 years in commercial real estate, Wald was most recently with Colliers International here. He was senior vice president of institutional investments at Colliers for seven years. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.
BT Commercial's Investment Services Group was formed in January when Gary Willard was hired as managing partner. An 18-year veteran of CB Richard Ellis, Inc, Willard has vowed the Burlingame-based ISG will provide BT Commercial clients the highest level of investment services.
Terranomics Retail Services was acquired by BT Commercial in 1998 and now represents more than 10 million sf of shopping center space in Northern California.
