In a released statement, Abid Abedi, president and CEO of the company, says, "We see incremental growth opportunities in the Boston area for Adea, especially as the economy squeezes out smaller IT staffing firms and high overhead makes it more challenging for the very large ones to compete with companies like ours."

Adea, which established a temporary office here while it searches for a permanent space in the area, has a number of clients in the Greater Boston area. According to its statement, the firm anticipates the greatest demand for IT staffing in wireless infrastructure, Internet applications, Web infrastructure, enterprise applications integration, Web security and security. Adea also predicts that there will be a continued growth in demand for technology people in the fiber optic and Internet video streaming markets. The company currently has offices in Atlanta, Georgia, Austin, Texas, Tampa,Florida, Washington DC and India.
