In the new role, White is responsible for office property leasing and sales transactions in the Phoenix market. His role also includes financial analysis investigation and preparation, projection and feasibility studies and market analysis for investment-grade property.

White, who had joined the team in 1997, has negotiated commercial leases and build-to-suit transactions totaling more than 4.1 million sf, with a value of more than $325 million. His land and commercial office buildings sale exceed $550 million.

Insignia/ESG also has hired Stephan Mariani as a director in the property services group. He will oversee the management of property under contract in Phoenix and the copper mining towns of Bagdad and Morenci. Bagdad is about 100 miles northwest of Phoenix and Morenci is due east near the New Mexico border.

For the past four years, Mariani had owned Phoenix-based Nova Commercial Real Estate. He's held asset management positions with Aegon USA and Partnership Advisors as well as worked with Phoenix-based retail developer Vestar, where he was responsible for the property management, leasing and construction supervision of a 1.5 million-sf portfolio.
