The property was leased from San Francisco's Gate Capital LLC. MetaTV signed a 7-year lease that will go into effect in July of this year.
Vic Brown of Orion Partners LTD, who represented the landlord with colleague Haden Ongaro, told GlobeSt.com that MetaTV is expanding its business from Sausalito and was interested in larger, attractive space.
"2 Belvedere is the most professional, high-profile building in Marin County," said Brown. "It is more like a San Francisco Class A building than any other in the area.
Brown was unable to quote the rent but said the listing price is $5.50 SF per month, full service.
MetaTV will join another high-tech company from Sausalito, MarketTools, which currently leases the 42,000SF first floor of the 60,000 SF, three-story building. Other neighbors include Charles Schwab and the Stupski Family Foundation.
