Jess and Barbara Nicks shelled out more than $157 per sf for a total of $1.1 million for the fully leased freestanding building. CSK Auto, which operates Checker Auto Parts, is the tenant.
Last year, the Nicks also paid $1.1 million for a 7,000-sf retail site for CSK Auto in Cottonwood, about 100 miles north of Phoenix. Cottonwood has about 8,000 residents, but is more populated during the hot summer months.
LRA Development, which built the building, is the seller of the Phoenix location. Dennis Younes of GVA Landmark's Phoenix office negotiated the transaction.
