Norm Eggen represented the seller, IT Group and David Granger with CRS, Commercial Real Estate Services represented the buyer, Lloyd Carone of Carone Construction (dba Waterbird LLC).
Eggen, vice president at Colliers International in Oakland, says that this sale takes off the market a large parcel of land available for more than a year, and gives Carone the land his company will need expand as business necessitates, says Eggen.
Carone and Co., currently based in Concord, may use the site as its new headquarters, says Eggen. Initially, though, the company intends to grade the site and then install the necessary improvements required for its use as a construction yard.
