At a recent presentation, Jean M. Cairey, general manager, and Rodney J. Helm, vice president and leasing specialist, were accorded the honor for the 133,600-sf office component and nearly equal amount of sf of retail space in multiple buildings of the Archon-owned project area. Helm tells GlobeSt.com that the two-tower office component is now 94% occupied and the retail, 100%--which is part of the reason that the team has won this year's honor. In 1999, the Jones Lang LaSalle team won the award just for the office leasing, which went from the 70% range to 93% in a matter of six months, he recalls. Helm says a number of leases have just been signed that takes the office occupancy to its current 94% level.

The 17-year-old Prestonwood Creek, situated along Beltline Road in Dallas, has The Granada theater as its retail anchor in the popular corridor. CD Exploration is the largest space taker in the multi-tenant office buildings at 5485 and 5495 Beltline Rd. Cairey is the project's manager while Helm handles leasing efforts.

"One tenant requested that part of his renewal agreement state that Jean stay with the property forever, exemplifying her exceptional tenant relations abilities," says Nancy Abbott, Archon's asset manager. Helm, continues Abbott, "continues to exceed expectations for lease transactions, consistently adding value for the owner." She cites his recent transaction activity that not only has brought renewals, but expanded leases from tenants.
