Stanhope Wins Hemel Hempstead Consent

LONDON-Stanhope and Morley Fund management have been granted detailed consent for the first two buildings on their 600,000 sf business park in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Detailed planning consent has been granted for the first two buildings of approximately 100,000 sf with a decked car park and outline consent has been granted on a 40,000 sq ft health club.

The masterplan for the 23 acre site, drawn up by architect Fletcher Priest envisages six separate office buildings in total. Construction is due to start on site in October 2001, with the first buildings ready for occupation in mid-2002.

FPD Savills and Freeth Melhuish are joint letting agents on the scheme.
