Stewart plans to fold Closing Corp.'s offerings in theirNational Title Services division, which handles global title andclosing service needs of third-party relocation companies. Theentire Closing Corp. team will be brought on board, includingpresident, Ed Carroll. He will serve as a business developmentconsulting at Stewart. "Ed's knowledge of the relocation business,his years in the business and his many contacts will strengthen ournational presence," says Jo Ann Stevens, associate director ofNational Title Services. Stevens expects that hiring the rest ofthe Closing Corp. staff will improve her division's production andincrease transaction volume.
