The Dallas-based Arledge/Power has hired John Castro as vice president of business development. Castro, which has 13 years' experience, provides expertise in teleservices, customer service and the call center industry. He is acting as the liaison for a broad range of economic development and business locations strategies for the firm's nationwide client roster. Castro was manager of Ernst & Young LLP's real estate and business incentives practice.
Perkins & Will has named Wayne Cage, AIA, to a principal and director of interiors post at its newly opened Dallas office. Cage will lead design teams for clients in higher education, corporate and commercial settings.
Cage brings more than 30 years' experience in design and planning in Texas to the Perkins & Will team. He previously was vice president and director of commercial interiors for HKS Inc. in Dallas and also a senior VP for Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum Inc. Through the years, he has been involved in projects for such high-profile clients as ExxonMobil, Citicorp, Mesa, Aetna, MCI, Nortel, SMU's Bridwell Library and Jones Day. In 1991, he was accorded a Top 10 design award from Interior Design magazine.
