Specifically, the plan sys the removal of the westside RossIsland Bridge ramps would open up the four blocks beneath it fordevelopment while maintaining its connections to Interstate 5.Eastbound traffic entering the bridge would be rerouted onto KellyWay.

From Arthur to Barbur, Naito Parkway would be redesigned as atwo-way neighborhood street with on-street parking, wider sidewalksand possibly bike lanes. Such a project would also open up newdevelopment parcels.

The changes would reduce evening rush-hour traffic on NaitoParkway and at Barbur Boulevard and Hamilton Street, cityprojections indicate. But they would increase projected traffic atBarbur and Arthur and along Corbett Avenue south of the bridge.
