P.C. Richard has grown to well over 40 stores, and with the signing of a lease for 38,000 sf at the St. Georges Crossing Shopping Center here, its New Jersey roster now numbers 12. The retailer is also adding to the center's comeback in the wake of the closure a few years ago of discounter Caldor.
Management and leasing agent Levin Management Corp., North Plainfield, NJ, has taken the Caldor space and turned much of it into expansion space for an expanded 91,000-sf ShopRite supermarket. The P.C. Richard lease will complete the lease-up of the former Caldor space, although space formerly occupied by ShopRite is still available.
Besides the re-leasing program, Levin has launched a physical upgrade of the property, including a new facade, a resurfaced parking lot, and new lighting and landscaping. Other key tenants include OfficeMax, PetSmart, Taco Bell, a Bertucci's restaurant, Funcoland and EyeDr.
