Industrial Catering Inc. of Dallas owned the site for 25 years, Dan Spika of Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. Provident is planning to construct a small building on the vacant parcel. In prior years, the site at 4408 Bryan St. housed a building for the catering service, but it was razed some years back. Spika represented the seller and Provident Realty used in-house broker Kipp Platt for the acquisition negotiations.
Spika also has put retailer Staples Inc. into 72,000 sf of distribution sublease space at 2350 Alberta Dr. in the freestanding Dallas Corporate Center 7. ProLogis Trust owns the multi-building corporate center, which boasts about 500,000 sf of industrial space.
Spika says the sublease space was occupied by CM & Elkins Wire, a Duluth, GA manufacturer that has closed its Dallas operations. He cut the deal on CM & Elkins' behalf while David Ginther of the Fischer Co. in Dallas represented Staples in the 26-month lease.
Pilot Gear HQ is taking 5,461 sf of office-warehouse space at 2001 Division St. in Arlington. K.G. Financial Services Inc. is the tenant of record. Trey Fricke of Henry S. Miller Commercial's Dallas office has sealed the long-term pact on behalf of building owner, VJS Properties.
In a 4,540-sf signing, the Youth Wave Church will expand its operation by moving into Parkwood Village, situated at the northeast corner of Harwood and Norwood in Bedford. Gordon Campbell of Henry S. Miller Commercial represented tenant and building owner, Parkwood Village JV, in the long-term lease.
