Industrial Catering Inc. of Dallas owned the site for 25 years,Dan Spika of Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com.Provident is planning to construct a small building on the vacantparcel. In prior years, the site at 4408 Bryan St. housed abuilding for the catering service, but it was razed some yearsback. Spika represented the seller and Provident Realty usedin-house broker Kipp Platt for the acquisition negotiations.

Spika also has put retailer Staples Inc. into 72,000 sf ofdistribution sublease space at 2350 Alberta Dr. in the freestandingDallas Corporate Center 7. ProLogis Trust owns the multi-buildingcorporate center, which boasts about 500,000 sf of industrialspace.

Spika says the sublease space was occupied by CM & ElkinsWire, a Duluth, GA manufacturer that has closed its Dallasoperations. He cut the deal on CM & Elkins' behalf while DavidGinther of the Fischer Co. in Dallas represented Staples in the26-month lease.
