For the past seven years, Fleming has been a partner in Fleming& Ray, a local firm he founded in 1994 that specializes incommercial real estate. He also spent 12 years at Long, Aldridge& Norman in Atlanta where he was managing partner from1991-1993. He received his law degree from the University ofVirginia in 1982.

Fleming has served as an executive committee member of the realproperty law section, State Bar of Georgia, since 1997. He chairedthe real estate section of the Atlanta Bar Association lastyear.

Counsins' common opened this morning on the New York StockExchange at $26.15, up 39 cents (1.51%) from $25.76 on Aug. 6. Thestock's 52-week high-low was $29.54 and $23.49.
