Van Vliet Real Estate Cos., based in Eden Prairie and headed by George Van Vliet, is paying $47,337 per unit for the complex situated at 315 E. Camelback Rd. Broker Patrick Slavin of Hendricks & Partners' Phoenix office negotiated the sale.

The complex is near the northeast corner of Third Street and Camelback Road in the Uptown area. It is about two miles from Squaw Peak Parkway and near amenities such as the Camelback Colonnade, a sizeable power center, and Biltmore Fashion Park.

In December, Van Vliet acquired its first Valley property with the $8.5-million buy of the 310-unit Hazeltree Apartments, positioned at 2928 E. Osborn Rd.
