The Ft. Worth facility will mark the Addison, TX-based medical operation's 19th in the metroplex, Greg Trout, executive vice president of Henry S. Miller Commercial's Dallas office, tells GlobeSt.com. In all, Concentra leases 2.6 million sf at 353 properties for offices and clinics. It operates 224 occupational health centers in 69 markets in a 32-state portfolio.

Concentra has signed the five-year lease with Colonial Savings for 2500 W. Freeway, an office building situated west of Ft. Worth's downtown. Trout says Concentra is taking all of the 29,000-sf structure's front portion for the new clinic. The property currently is being retrofitted to suit Concentra's clinic needs. Trout represented the tenant in the signing and Colonial Savings used in-house broker Wayne Lasater to negotiate the pact.

Concentra provides medical evaluation services for the corporate world, including pre-employment screening services. Earlier this year, the Texas-based operator bought the Industrial Health Care Co. in Connecticut, the state's largest operator in that arena with seven occupational health centers and several on-site offices for large employers. The acquisition added a new state to the Concentra lineup.
