The development, to be named Riviera at Freehold, would be built on a 225-acre site that is currently owned by RWV Land and CM Livestock. Just under half of the site would be retained as woodlands, under the company's proposal, according to a site plan presented by Freehold-based JKR Engineering.

Besides the 300 residential units, the project would include several man-made decorative ponds, and swimming pool and spa, a variety of recreational features and an 11,000-sf clubhouse. The latter would include a computer room for use by residents.
