$31-Mil Mixed-Use Development Approved

DETROIT-A Home Depot and 126 condominiums will expand the Riverbend Plaza project after a sale of city-owned land and rezoning. Curis Enterprises and Anthony Lombardo and Associates are developers.

The $31-million development, known as Riverbend Plaza III and IV, is beingbuilt by Curis Enterprises of Detroit and Anthony Lombardo and Associates of Washington Township. The condominiums will be called Heritage Condominiums.

Restaurants are proposed for the two retail lots, says Marcell Todd of thecity planning commission staff. The sale price of the property was not released.
