TAMPA, FL-J. Scott Davis, former senior vice president/real estate banking group, becomes vice president/loan production in the Tampa, FL office of the Baltimore-based commercial mortgage firm. Tampa is 80 miles west of Downtown Orlando.

He has 20 years of background in the commercial real estate finance industry. Davis will be responsible for expanding Legg Mason's origination and placement of loans on income-producing properties through the firm's institutional correspondent investors.

Legg Mason Real Estate Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Baltimore, MD-based Legg Mason Inc., a New York Stock Exchange-traded firm.
