"We believe the new hotel accommodations at Caesars Indiana will drive incremental visitation to our casino and conference center, especially mid-week," says Park Place Entertainment COO Wallace R. Barr. "Its opening marks an important step toward fully extending our Caesars brand in middle America."

Cost of the 10-story hotel was $62 million; the garage cost $18 million to build.

Caesars Indiana also includes a 200,000-sf retail Pavilion, 24,000-sf conference center and 1,500-seat Colosseum. An 18-hole golf course will open next year.

Park Place Entertainment is the world's largest gaming company, with an interest in 29 gaming properties totaling 2 million sf. Besides Caesars, the Nevada-based company also operates properties under the Bally's, Flamingo, Grand Casinos and Hilton brand names.
