Exempla Plans $170-Mil Hospital

LAFAYETTE, CO-The hospital and two medical office buildings would be built east of US 36 and south of South Boulder Road, on a 77-acre site in Lafayette Corporate Center. Exempla Healthcare operates two other hospitals in the market.

The non-profit Exempla operates St. Joseph Hospital in Denver and Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge. It could eventually expand the Lafayette hospital to 350 beds.

The new hospital would be east of US 36 and south of South Boulder Road. The Exempla hospital is one of several planned in the Denver area.
