"With the town center project progressing, our presence here is more important than ever," according to ReNEWal president Robert Stang. "We're actively pursuing the redevelopment of both the town center and the Route 130 corridor."
The 1950's-era Willingboro Plaza was acquired by ReNEWal three years ago. The obsolete retail property is being replaced by more than 225,000 sf of new retailing, plus housing, office space, a daycare center, a Merck-Medco mail order distribution center, a new Willingboro Public Library, and a new campus for Burlington County College. The complex will also have a significant amount of open space.
