Under a development plan just approved by the township's planning board, Salem Place will do the project in two phases. The initial phase, two buildings totaling 24,525 sf, is expected to be underway shortly. The second phase, a single 52,800-sf structure will begin once phase one is completed, although no specific timeline has been announced.
As part of the approved development plan, certain existing transportation patterns will be altered to accommodate an anticipated increase in traffic. The plan also calls for the preservation of nearby environmentally sensitive areas.
