In the first, JDS Uniphase added 43,000 sf to its existing facility in Eatontown, with the build-out fast-tracked in a seven-week schedule. The project included HVAC upgrades, extensive plumbing upgrades and a compressed air distribution system for use in cleaning electronic equipment. The space includes 25,000 sf of electrostatic dissipative flooring.

And in Piscataway, NJ, the company has moved into a 70,000-sf technical facility that merges the operations of JDS Uniphase, SDL and Veritech. The build-out was completed on a fast-tracked 14-week schedule by Sweetwater . It includes an administrative area and 35,000 sf of conductive flooring, as well as new building systems. Rothe-Johnson-Fantacone was the architect for both JDS Uniphase projects.
