The deal for the center, located at 16868 Via Del Campo Court, Rancho Bernardo, is valued at $4.5 million. Jay Alexander of Colliers International represented Prentiss Properties, the building owner. Brad Bennett of CB Richard Ellis represented AP Labs.
AP Labs designs, tests and supports rugged enclosures and complex systems for submarines, surface ships, aircraft, ground vehicles and labs. The company will move its Sorrento Mesa corporate headquarters/engineering operation to the Rancho Bernardo facility in January.
Previously occupied by Sony and Motorola, the two-story Rancho Bernardo Corporate Center includes 66,400 sf of office/R&D space. About 21,000 sf remain available for lease. Jay Alexander of Colliers International is the exclusive marketing representative.
